The Voyager space probes were launched in 1977 to study the planetary systems of Jupiter and Saturn. The Voyager frame by Westward Leaning was inspired by the round shape of the spacecraft’s attendant golden record, which featured the diverse sounds of planet earth. Voyager stays true to the desired rounded frame with colors that are out of this world.
Westward Leaning was founded on the philosophy of giving back. Every pair of sunglasses has been inlaid with a unique material on the temple, which directly correlates to an associated charity.
For every pair sold, a minimum of 10% of net proceeds is donated to the registered charitable organization signified by the inlay.
Features Galactic Marble side inlays from the Earth materials collection. The Earth materials support WildAid, whose mission is to raise awareness to reduce the demand for threatened and endangered species products and to increase public support for wildlife conservation.
In addition to a traditional large and durable clamshell outer case, these sunglasses come with a custom-designed and compact protective sleeve.
