Robots.txt Instructions
The Ditto crawler honors the Robots Exclusion Standard. If you would like to prevent Ditto's picture web crawler from indexing your web site, you can easily do so by taking advantage of the Robots Exclusion Standard and setting up a robots.txt file. It is a simple process that gives you complete control over what gets indexed by web crawlers.

To remove existing pictures from the Ditto picture index, you need to:
  1. set up a robots.txt file, and
  2. submit the URL (using the form below)
We are usually able to recrawl the site and remove the pictures within 72 hours.

Ditto provides visual search of the web using pictures. Users are linked to the originating web site on which the pictures are located. Should you wish to use any picture, photo or artwork you see during the search process, you must obtain the appropriate permission from the owner of the material.
